Sealing Trust: ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for Our NL & RO Offices

Because our focus is constantly on increasing quality in what we do, we organized our NL office's recertification and our RO office's certification with the ISO/IEC 27001:2022, mark of quality and trust for every player in the IT industry. In 2019, Jibe NL successfully integrated its Information Security Management System (ISMS) and obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2013(E) certification. This year, having conquered 99% of this ambitious goal, we aim to achieve ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for both offices, NL and RO, as a commitment to Information Security excellence.

We implemented safeguards and controls through well-organized policies, procedures, and technical measures such as software and equipment. These implementations provide a robust framework to uphold the highest data security standards, instilling trust, and strengthening relationships with our customers and partners.

We meticulously prepared the entire team to uphold the information security standards consolidated in ISO/IEC 27001:2022. These measures included comprehensive online training on information security, delivered through a series of informative notes outlining the security practices. To assess the effectiveness of this training, we administer internal tests and conduct discussions on security measures. By adopting such a thorough approach, Jibe demonstrates its commitment to maintaining a secure environment and fostering a culture of information security awareness across our organization.

Some of the aspects we tackled in our training on information security:

-       Clear Desk Policy: whether in-office or remote, ensure sensitive paper documents and data storage media are cleared from desks and public areas.

-       Laptop Security Policy: use Password Manager (Passbolt) and 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication).

-       IT Security Policy: contains clear rules for using the information system and other information assets.

-       Run a virus scan at least every three months.

-       The computer/laptop should have full disk encryption.
